The movie portrays his life story as 2-dimensional whereas there was a lot more to it than June Carter and Pills if you've read his autobiography.
anyone can make a movie about a rockstar. it's a formula. Rock Star struggles to break though. Rock Star does drugs and womanizes. Rock Star shakes drug habit and comes back a better person. For that matter, anyone can be a Rock Star. I'm gonna go buy myself some crack this afternoon!
